In a high-profile contract for Bristol City Council (BCC), the
John Perkins team carried out a 'facelift' for Bristol's iconic 'B'
Bond Warehouse, the home of the Bristol Record Office in Cumberland
The £326,000 competitive contract win was for a full external refurbishment of the nine-story building, built during the tobacco import boom in the early 20th century.
Working closely with Almondsbury-based Ibstock Brick Ltd to ensure hand made refurbishment cill sections exactly matched originals, John Perkins also carried out some of the fabric repair out-of-hours to minimise disruption to the working day.
“John Perkins were one hundred percent dedicated to providing value for money whilst minimising disruption to the building users. They are undoubtedly one of the best contractors I have ever worked with.”
