The move to expand the team with a Pre-construction Manager comes as Rupert Perkins settles into his new role as Managing Director. His focus will be on finding the best opportunities for the business, leaving the Pre-construction Manager to carry out the preliminary planning stages of each new job.

Natalie comes from a varied construction background, with degrees in both Architecture and Project Management. She has worked for the University of Bath and the Ministry of Justice in a facilities/estates role and, most recently, as a Framework Manager for ISG Construction.

“Since I’ve worked on projects from both the consultant side and the client side, I’m able to put myself in their shoes and understand their needs,” comments Natalie Batchelor. “I’m always thinking about how we can make life easier for everyone involved.”

“Natalie has already proven herself a real asset to the company,” says Alex Jenkins, Commercial Director of John Perkins Construction. “She is outstanding at working with the directors to set up projects for success, in a way that reflects the Perkins ethos of honesty, openness, integrity and flexibility.”

“We’re particularly delighted to be in a position to grow our team even during these difficult times,” he adds. “We are confident that having a dedicated Pre-construction Manager on side will allow us to go from strength to strength.”
