JPC breaks ground at Dockside Apartments in the heart of Bristol Harbourside

John Perkins Construction has commenced work at Dockside Apartments, a brand-new development of 13 apartments for Simon James Homes.

The sleek, modern development of flats is set to bring to life a formerly dead space adjacent to Wapping Wharf in Bristol Harbourside. It is due for completion in autumn 2023.

JPC, as Principal Contractor, is working closely with Oxford Architects, KB2 Consulting Engineers, and MDA Consulting on this project. What is currently a derelict scrap of brownfield land will be transformed into an important new addition to the Harbourside skyline.

Simon James Homes specialises in building quality individually-designed homes in desirable locations using local and skilled individuals. The apartments will be spread over six floors, with a below-ground car park. The superstructure of the building will be composed of a steel frame, with an infill system. The finished building will boast a varied façade, of brick, render, metal, and cement board cladding.
