Projects In Progress

SS Great Britain

We are honoured to have been chosen by The SS Great Britain Trust to complete the restoration of the ship’s iconic Weather Deck. This is crucial work in order to preserve the ship’s historic 180 year old iron hull, the first of it’s kind and a feat of engineering.

The work will continue throughout the summer of 2024, however the Weather Deck will remain open to the public during this time to ensure that the public are made part of future proofing the ship for years to come.

Ashcombe School

It’s fantastic to be on site for another project at Ashcombe School in Weston-super-Mare, having last been there in 2012, when we built an extension to the children’s centre. Now we are constructing a new school building, which will replace facilities that are no longer suitable for purpose.

We’re pleased to rekindle relationships with the school management team, Kaleidoscope Multi Academy Trust, and Hookway.

This project is proof that, if you leave a positive feeling behind, it may take a few years, but good things can come to those who wait.

Newport Transporter Bridge Visitor Centre

Things are progressing apace at Newport Transporter Bridge, where we are building a new visitor centre, working in close collaboration with Newport City Council, Newport Norse, and design team AWW.

This facility, which will be linked to the bridge via a walkway, is set to bring the history of the bridge to life through showcasing the personal stories of those who designed, built and used the bridge.

Cossham Hospital

At Cossham Hospital in Kingswood, we are constructing a two-storey extension to the Diagnostic Imaging Department for North Bristol NHS Trust. The internal partition walls are going in, and a window-themed art installation from local artist Rodney Harris has been installed on the brickwork.

Dockside Apartments

The partitions are being installed at Dockside Apartments in the Wapping Wharf area of Central Bristol. We’re working with Oxford Architects and MDA Consulting to deliver a new development of 13 apartments over 6 floors for Simon James Homes.

Coleg Gwent

We’re happy to be strengthening our relationship with Coleg Gwent, winning more work under their framework, carrying out important roofing works across two campuses.

We are pleased to be working for the first time at Coleg Gwent’s Newport Campus, and it’s good to be back again at the Crosskeys Campus, where we refurbished R Block last year.
