Luke has over 20 years’ experience in design, having worked previously as a Senior Architectural Technician for award-winning practices in Bath and the Isle of Wight, working on multi-sector projects across the South and South West.
He joined John Perkins Construction in 2024 as our Design Manager. As Design Manager, Luke will the design process with a strong focus on commercial, contractual, and programme considerations. He will support and advise our clients, ensuring their requirements and obligations are met throughout the pre-construction and delivery phase of the development. Luke fosters a collaborative working environment, encouraging design consultants to produce their best work while balancing creativity with cost-effectiveness. By ensuring all design information adheres to current regulations, standards, and project timelines, he promotes a best practice and common-sense approach across all stages. Luke is also committed to eliminating health and safety risks in design and minimizing financial risks during construction.
Luke is passionate about health and nutrition, loves a ramble around the Somerset countryside and is a proud contributor of Historic England’s ‘Missing Pieces Project’.
