Richard Mann joined John Perkins Construction in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a highly experienced Senior Site Manager and Project Manager, with over 30 years in the construction industry.
Richard started his career as an apprentice carpenter/joiner completing his training and becoming a fully fledge carpenter and then moving into site manager. He is commercially aware and skilled in construction, management, contract management, and SMSTS and he brings a strong focus on detail and delivery.
He has successfully managed a diverse range of refurbishment and new build projects across residential, retail, commercial, and healthcare sectors, most recently the award recognised Ashcombe Primary School extension and multiuse hall. From pre-site planning through to handover and retention release, he consistently ensures quality, efficiency, and high standards throughout every phase of a project.
Richard Mann has been site manager for a building project at Ashcombe Primary for some time now.
During this time he has proved to be not only professional but extremely personable and friendly.
He has regular ‘check in’s’ with the school staff to ensure there are no issues. He has helped to deliver building site awareness assemblies, colouring competitions for the pupils etc. all this with a smile on his face!
We have a good working relationship and nothing appears to be too much trouble.
